Here's the plan.

In a few minutes, curiousangel and I will be leaving for Elmira.

We're going to stay with my mother over the weekend - she's out of the hospital and feeling better, but she's still supposed to rest most of the time. If we stay with her, then my father can go and be with his brother at the funeral. I'll feel better because I'll get to see my mother, my mother will feel better because she'll have someone taking care of her, Uncle Dave will feel better because he'll have his closest relative with him at his wife's funeral, and my father will feel better because he can be with his brother without sacrificing his wife's care. So it's the perfect answer all around.

I'll be online over the weekend, so I'll be checking in.

Thanks to all of you for your good wishes and your prayers for my family. I really appreciate it.
