We did some SCA demo dance stuff several years ago and danced John Tallow's Canon. Lovely dance with lots of time for flirty stuff if you had the dance well enough in hand to remember where you were supposed to be going next. We did alot of self-calling in the individual sets.
'And first couple reverence ... second couple... up and back... now, you... first couple cross... isn't it time for Henry to smolder now?'.
This all in an undertone, fighting not to giggle madly, while the onlookers sighed at how elegant and romantick it all was.
