So we'll get to see the Suit of Great Fame at N4 then?

(And you should probably make sure to buy the backordered one anyway)

Yay! I had a near-crisis of this nature earlier this summer, about a pair of shoes. They were the perfect pair of shoes for being comfortable and looking nice, on those occasions when I didn't need to protect my feet from the lab or from the cold, and when I wasn't wearing black. Thus I went for 8 months without thinking of them, and had 3 weeks of fearing they were lost forever and I'd never be able to find another pair of comparably splendid shoes, never! Until they turned up in the back of the hall closet under the spare boots and 3 scarves. Now I have vague virtuous intentions of "keeping an eye out for another pair," but I still think I'll never be able to find another pair of comparably splendid shoes, never. Especially given how much time I want to spend shopping.

Oh hurray! I don't suppose he could extend his powers to telling me where to look for my purple one with the zipper (last seen 2-3 years ago) or my bumble-bee one (last seen a month ago)?

Hurray! And some good may come of this -- maybe now that you've complained, Land's End will stock more suits in your size.

Well, you know, not in the hallways. They air-condition those convention centers to a ridiculous level of chill.

Besides, it's not so much that my old suit is fantastically gorgeous as it is that it already exists in a well-fitting state, and thus does not need to be shopped for.

see, I just had the opposite problem...

my new suit from Land's End arrived yesterday (pool party this weekend, if I'm up to it), and it fits really well, except..well..I'm a plus size, and apparently, that means my chest _must_ be at least a D...wonder if I can find some pads to fill out this thing

Yaay! I've been feeling that way about the bits and bobs I've been finding of things I'd forgotten that I had, because they've been in storage for so long.

w00t! Loud cheers!

I felt your pain and trembled, as I too am a D.
