I'm waiting for the Howard County Police to show up.

Misha was supposed to meet me at 8pm at English Country Dance. I got backed up at work and didn't get there until 8:30 - and he wasn't there yet. I called home. No answer. I called again about 9:15. No answer. I tried my voicemail at home and at work. No message.

I left the dance and came home, hoping to see his car in the lot and discover that he'd fallen asleep. No car. No Misha at home. No sign that he'd been here after work, either (he was expecting to go home between work and dancing) - his e-mail is unread since this morning and his stuff isn't here. He hasn't been here. Since he should've left work at five or five-thirty.

Bill just called - Misha still hasn't shown up at dancing.

I called the Highway Patrol. No vehicle matching Misha's car's description has been reported in an accident. I called the Howard County police. They're sending an officer over.

Bill's going to stay at dancing until the end, in case Misha shows up there expecting me to still be there. Then he's going to come over here and wait with me.

I'm so scared. I'm so scared. I'm so scared.

Please, if you're a praying person, pray.

Safe and well

Misha just came home.

He'd been stressed out all day, and jumped in the car after work to just drive it off. Not thinking clearly, he assumed that I would just figure he hadn't wanted to go dancing, and wouldn't miss him until it was over.

He's fine. After some hysterical crying in his arms, I'm fine myself... still shaky though.

I apologize to anyone who saw my post and was alarmed.
