So, who all is going to Worldcon?

I'd like to set up some of my social schedule in advance, so that (a) I don't wind up missing out on people I want to see, and (b) my social anxiety is calmed by knowing there are people who want to hang out with me.

They say the great secret of worldcons is pacing yourself. I've never yet quite managed it myself.

Let's definitely have dinner on the Thursday evening before the LJ party, and we can talk about strategies for survival.

Incidentally, I was just telling my aunt about you yesterday, in the context of sharing a room at N4, and when I'd finished describing you she said: "How is it you know so many wonderfully interesting people?"

Thanks! My sister is actually a longtime Boston resident, and I've visited many times. It's a great city. We'll be taking all day Monday to wander around Boston with my sister.

I'm trying to decide if I should drag my eighteenth century ballgown along for the Regency dance. It's out of period, but it goes with the Playford-style dancing. And it's lovely. That sounds good. It's my turn with the kids this year at Worldcon, so I don't know if I'll get to spend nearly as much time at the party as I want (and I'm on a Thursday afternoon panel, it seems), but I'm planning on being there.
