Dec. 22nd, 2004 11:13 pmPacking for a trip is much easier now that I'm pregnant. Instead of thinking carefully about what I might be doing and which of my clothes I would most like to bring, I pretty much dumped all of my clean maternity clothes in a suitcase. I don't have a huge variety of things that actually fit.
(Okay, almost all of my maternity clothes. I decided that my fabulously low-cut party dress was not suitable for a sedate family Christmas with Michael's father.)
I'm working tomorrow for part of the day, and then we're heading out on the light rail to catch a 5:30 flight. It's sleeting in Memphis. Hopefully they'll have that cleared up by the time we arrive tomorrow night, but, you know, southern cities are not well-known for their snow removal.
I will move heaven and earth to have some net access while we're in Memphis, but it will probably involve trips to the public library. Don't expect me to be around very often for the next week.
I will miss you all.
