By popular demand, more baby pictures are here.

I'm sitting here smiling, looking at this and this from 2002. Maybe it's something about me and babies and black shirts.

Both those pictures of you and Alex turned out very, very well.

(And hey! Nonny had the same hat and blankets that Alex did, in the hospital!)

Oh yeah, I like the pictures a lot. I think that the hospital cap and blanket sets are ubiquitous. Or maybe just among Maryland hospitals.

I think they are the same everywhere; it seems to be some sort of unwritten rule fo the Universe :)

Okay, that sling looks nifty cool! What a spectacular invention.

No stroller picture? How did that go?

Good lord!

Three weeks old, and she's got gams that go on forever!

I noticed them in the pic of [livejournal.com profile] wcg holding her.

Oh, wow! She's so beautiful!

Thank you for posting those -- I'm smiling like an idiot now.

ooohh... What a BUNNY! (Not the green thingy - I say "bunny" to any small, cute, carbon-based critter).

So sweet.

I have to admit that my first thought at seeing the picture of you and Alex waiting to go home was "Wow! She's not pregnant anymore!"

The being previously known as Lil'Critter is a beautiful baby, and it's obvious from the pictures that she's being showered with tenderness and love by everyone in the family.

Dang, that's a cute baby.

Oh, wait, I think I know why! Her first name is Alexandra, your last name is Wald, which makes her initials ... AW!

Waitaminute.

Marine. In Black.

MiB!?!

That does it. If Tommy Lee Jones or Will Smith show up *anywhere* in the vicinity, it's time to emulate the Kansas shepherds and get the flock outta Dodge...

Hey, that baby actually looks good!

No, seriously. Most babies look like you threw them into a wall. I think it's the lack of hair to cover the silly pink skin that just got squeezed out of someone's abdomen. It normally takes months or years for them to actually get as "cute" as people say they are (I have a feeling that some people are just aesthetically challenged and would say a housebrick was cute if you painted it pink and stuck a diaper on it). But yours is, like, human and stuff already.

Kudos mom!

Oh yes, I'm so glad you got the sling, [livejournal.com profile] rivka. I just adored mine: I used it with each girl up past the age of two. Very handy for nursing, for the bus, and just for general comfort.

Lovely! And she's been very quick at recovering from the red and wrinkly phase.

You know, she never was particularly red and wrinkly. She didn't get all molded and pointy-skulled, either. One of the nurses at the hospital said, "she looks like a C-section baby."

She really did come through it all remarkable unmussed.

My bitsy sis-in-law's first was pointy-headed for weeks! Long enough that she was starting to ask about devices to help round him out.

Ah, we seem to have the green bunny's cousin. Just with more eyes (http://www.iprimus.ca/~sjw/lj/bunny_june.jpg) :)
