I'm glad it went, from the sound of it, about as well as it could given the fact the baby was ill and all y'all were under some stress. And I'm so glad that Michael's dad was well enough to enjoy seeing her and interact with her.

The fact that he was going to see Alex for Thanksgiving was actually on my personal 'things I'm thankful for' on Thursday, because I knew how much it would mean to all of you. (And because I met him and I like him, you know?)
