In my experience, there are three ways they justify this. (1) "Your baby's health was never really at risk. You were listening to mainstream medical providers who always think technological solutions are better than natural ones." (2) "Your baby was only at risk because you [insert_wrong_action_here]." (3) "But if your baby was sick, then breastfeeding her was even MORE important."
