Alex's sinuses are still infected, although the Amoxicillin cleaned up her ear infection nicely. So she gets to step up to the next level of antibiotics.

My ears still hurt. Ow. It's funny - when the doctor told me I had an ear infection, I was completely surprised. Then I realized that my ears had been hurting... I'd just written it off as stress-induced jaw tension. After I knew I had an ear infection, it was so obvious to me that my ear pain was, well, ear pain.

Michael has a cold, which you can bet your ass we're keeping a very close eye on.

I feel certain that family life will go much smoother once we've killed this nasty shit off.

As someone on their third course of antibiotics already for something similar, I empathize and hope it all clears up quickly and doesn't come back! Be gone, foul bacteria!
