For the evening, I firmly set aside my preconceptions about what foods I do and don't like. I'm glad that I did, because "I don't like organ meats" is about the strongest and most enduring of those preconceptions. And I didn't even really have a sense of what celery root was. I never would have picked this off a menu, and it was fantastic.
