rivkaWe have arrived home safely from my parents' house, only 24 hours late. Yesterday the weather really was miserable. We didn't get the foot-plus of snow that had been forecast, but the two lesser snowfalls we did get were sandwiched around a lengthy episode of freezing rain.
Today the driving wasn't bad, except for a substantial amount of glare that made it hard to tell whether the road ahead was icy or just wet. So it was a little tense at times, but we made it home just fine.
Yay, home.
