I meant to add that one of my frustrations with the portrayal of disabled people in books and movies as that overwhelmingly, they're about other people's reactions to the disabled person. So you get a story about how great Antoine is for not being prejudiced against the girl in a wheelchair, rather than a story where the girl in the wheelchair decides whether Antoine is attractive or not.
