...I am ZOMG SO HUNGRY. Pretty much all the time.

For lunch I had a good-sized portion of spinach lasagna, two pieces of homemade bread, and three Ghirardelli chocolate squares. And then I was still hungry, so I had a cherry-pomegranate organic poptart. Now I am hungry again.

I am considering eating the whole damn world and getting it over with.

Oh, dude, if I were there I'd totally give you my lunch. Possibly also my supper, too, as long as I get to keep the pretty girl who's cooking it.

(Nausea. Bleargh. Someone might as well derive some benefit from my food.)

I'm not sure that sounds like all that much to me... I had about the same size lunch, and I'm only feeding me.

Good plan!

I ate six meals a day, because I couldn't eat enough at a sitting. I eat less now but still need two full dinners most days.

I just realised "good-sized" might mean "normal serving," and not *my* idea of good-sized. Heh.

You're all talk, you are. You left all them chips *and* didn't want dessert. :P

But then what would you have for dessert?

You'll have to compete with me. I can't wait to see how big this baby is when she comes out next week. The ultrasound today showed quite the little round belly. :) I'm actually to the point that I'm tired of eating. Enough already!

My memory of this phase is YES. Just eat it all. You will be hungry again in an hour, and you will need to buy new jeans next month because your old ones will hang on your frame like you borrowed them from someone ten pounds larger than you.

I recommend full fat Fage yogurt. With honey and walnuts.

Ah the memories

I remember dreaming about being fed intravenously when I was breastfeeding ravenous twins. I was the lightest I've ever been and eating 5 meals a day. Still, with a big hungry baby (or two) you can see where it is all going! So glad to hear how well Colin is growing. Keep your fluids up too !

I found nursing a newborn was the best weight loss method EVER. Eat whatever you want and lose 15 lbs.

Sadly, I have now gained that weight back, despite cutting back significantly on the food.

A thought: you are involved in the sacred act of transubstantiation - food -> milk -> child

pretty damned cool.
