*laugh* You have all my sympathy. Rachel still wakes almost every two hours. It has let me to want to yell, "Go the fuck to sleep!!" which I'm pretty sure isn't good parenting. :)

I think good parents say that quietly instead of yelling it. ;-)

I don't mind if he wants to nurse at 4:30. I mind if he wants to coo, babble, wiggle, play, and not go back to sleep.

(there is something in the air - Ant woke up at 3:45 and wanted to go downstairs and have breakfast and play with his new clone troopers costume... Argh. At least he did go back to sleep).

Now, of course, she's complaining about Jeromy doing almost exactly the same thing. And I chuckle quietly in the corner with all the other grandmothers :):).

Well...ok...I didn't actually yell it.

If I could sleep while she nursed, there's be no problem. I can't. I've tried over and over. Plus, my milk supply is starting to fade, so I think we're about to increase the solid foods and introduce at least a second, if not third, bottle of formula a day. I'm wondering if part of the reason she is waking so often is that she simply isn't getting enough milk when she is nursing.

Me not minding if Colin wants to nurse at 4:30 doesn't mean that I think you're supposed to not mind if Rachel wants to nurse!

You've done awesomely to get this much breastmilk into her. It will be okay to add some more formula.
