Yay DDR! My brother has the original Hottest Party and he was a fan, although it was surprisingly hard and completely necessary (in his opinion) to turn off the hand motions. My only problem with it is that I've been spoiled by my PS2 setup with its semi-pro dancepad and Konami is still fighting cross-platform pad compatibility for some reason.
If my nephew is any indication, then Alex will struggle for a while and then suddenly become the champion of the house. I think they played for a while with Dad dancing and Z. clapping along with the arrows, and then Dad dancing and Z. alternatively stomping his feet along with the arrows until the foot-eye coordination set in.
