Madame, I admire your restraint, but I believe you may be incorrect.

[identity profile] aloha-moira.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
Ohhh, but I do. (Well, in a little over a year and a half.)

[identity profile] annaoj.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
Ooh. I clearly don't need it either. But...

[identity profile] rivka.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
I don't need it $36 worth. Alas.

[identity profile] wcg.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
Of course not. I can't see you in pink. (Now if you got it in black...)

[identity profile] tassie-gal.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
Ditto that sentiment but in errr 11 months and 15 days?

[identity profile] kateyule.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
Ouch. Otherwise, it rocks.

[identity profile] aloha-moira.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
Well now I'm just jealous of your stone-set graduation date. :)

[identity profile] xiphias.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 12:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Does Alex?

[identity profile] xiphias.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course, you could make one yourself. Lis's parents make a hotfix crystal applicator which allows you to put those shinies on things yourself. And basic blank T-shirts are about five bucks or less.

Total price would probably be about the thirty-six dollars, with the applicator, T-shirt, and the crystals, but you'd still have the applicator afterward, so your materials cost would be closer to ten bucks or so.

Oh, no! Claiming a doctorate before you have one gets people in ALL kinds of trouble.

[identity profile] fiction-theory.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 01:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Is it wrong to want to go back to school for a PhD JUST so I can wear that shirt? Because for about thirty seconds, I was seriously considering it.

[identity profile] moobabe.livejournal.com 2009-12-11 02:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Seriously! That's a lot of money for a shirt! I'll bet it'd be pretty easy to get the stuff to make something similar at a craft store, though.

Especially for American Apparel shirts. I don't know about you, but I am not a big fan of skin-tight across the boobs (even 2 sizes up) and paper-thin. It looks like these are the unisex ones, at least, but the new unisex ones kind of suck too.

You could get a custom button from Nancy Lebovitz. Not the impact, either visual (alas!) or financial (makes it more justifiable).
