That was Alex's eating pattern when she was SteelyKid's age too. She was essentially a vegetarian for the longest time, because she wanted nothing to do with the chewiness of meat. That's part of what shocks me so much about Colin's tastes. He made a pretty good stab at a stalk of steamed asparagus the other night!
Does SK like to feed you? Colin looooves to pick a bit of food off his tray and hold it out to us. He doesn't take well to polite refusal, either.
