rivkaPediatrics sent me three names today. I was hoping for - and expecting - more.
Family Medicine says that my rapid strep test is negative and my throat doesn't look strep-like enough for antibiotics. They're going to go ahead and do the strep culture, and someone will be in the clinic to let me know tomorrow. If it is strep, I'll only be delayed a day in starting antibiotics - I won't have to wait until Monday to find out, as I feared I might. If it's viral, hell. I don't have any idea when I'll start feeling better.
I'm not going to try to figure out how much of a disaster either of these things are. I'm going to call the three names I was given. Then I'm going to go back to the guest house and go to bed.
