CC: Becky [Secretary]
John,
We can take care of this. I will have Becky prepare the needed letter. Should be no problem.

(This is meant to be encouraging: one of our (now-former) grad students just defended her dissertation today and is now Dr. Jennifer rather than Jennifer ABD. The university purchasing department managed to award a PO to a local company to do our large printing job that I've been fighting with for the last six weeks. I actually have all the rosters for the workshops that have been taught thus far this week. It's being a good week here, and I will try to send some of that "things working out" luck your way.)
