Jul. 18th, 2003 03:16 pmI faxed my degree application to my advisor today. He'll sign it and send it on to the Graduate College.
A second form comes direct from the Psychology Department. They certify that I've completed everything I was supposed to complete, and that they approve my plan to graduate. I just e-mailed the departmental Admin with the details she'll need from me:
Dissertation title: "The Effects of Child Disability on Parental Endorsement of Physical Discipline: An Analog Study of Abuse Potential."
Committee: John Knutson (advisor), Don Fowles, Jodie Plumert, Peter Nathan, and Don Van Dyke (Pediatrics Department).
Date, time, and place of defense: August 27, 2003 at 1:00 PM, in 104 Spence Laboratories of Psychology.
It's really happening.

Date: 2003-07-19 09:56 am (UTC)I'm close to done, though, at least with the draft. I need to finish expanding my discussion section from a 10-page outline to an approximately 20-page piece of text. But I don't think that will be particularly hard.
