Ooooohhh.

Recovering needlework addicts should not click through. Really.

I just found a website selling needlework kits to make accurate replicas of historical samplers. Wow. Wow.

I want to do this, or possibly this, or this, or this, or... stop me.

It's a good thing my brain is too fuzzed by the narcotics to concentrate on anything like that at the moment, and maybe by the time I'm not drugged I'll have forgotten.

Ack! I'm not a needlework person and these still turned my head (especially the 17th c. one!)

However, I DO know a needlework addict who has no intention of recovering. Think I'll send her this link ;)

Does this mean that under no circumstances should I tell you about Mary Hickmott's New Stitches magazine, where they publish some of the most gorgeous projects on earth that are also designed for stitchers with more than beginners' skills so you aren't bored out of yer skull and insulted by the baby-step charts you usually see these days?

Oh, wait . . . I just did, didn't I?

So who *wants* to recover?? Sheesh.

Go look at http://www.theessamplaire.com too. She has BOTH of the Frances Cheyney samplers...

No. I really mean no. No more

A long time ago I was lucky enough to inherit some charts from 16th and 17th century English and European sources. Then I added a lot to that collection. My current project has been going on, but mostly off, for about 7 years.

Take those samplers and magazines away now. Please!!!!
