Queasy is bad. Ugh. To work or not to work?
Also: it got cold enough last night that our radiators came on. I haven't lived in a house with radiators for years, but I recognized the sound instantly when I got up at 5:30am to pee. It sounded like someone in the street outside pushing a rickety shopping card over an uneven sidewalk. (Of course, these are good radiators. In the house where I grew up, the radiators often sounded like someone hitting metal pipes with a hammer.)
Now we need to learn how to work our fancy programmable thermostat.

Date: 2003-10-02 09:37 am (UTC)I figured it out the following summer, but I still have to stop and really *focus* on it when the seasons change.
Which reminds me (*scribbling on PostIt note*): "Buy weatherstripping."
