rivkaI just got a message on my voicemail from Bill Meyer, the head Dean guy in Baltimore. Dean's going to be in town Monday for a $250-a-plate fundraiser, and they need some extra people to help out with the event. It would mean getting to attend the luncheon for free and probably getting to meet Governor Dean. Because I've done so much to help out with the Meetups, I'm at the top of his list - do I want to go?

The one day out of all the year that I have to haul my ass 50 miles out of town for a mandatory all-day work retreat.
