Nov. 21st, 2003 05:34 pmHe's out. The surgeon is very pleased with how the procedure went. We were allowed to come back to the ICU for a few minutes to see him, and he looked pretty sick - unconscious, with a respirator - but the nurse said his heart function looked just fine.
We're going to be allowed to see him once more this evening, and then we'll go home and try to get some sleep. I'm really exhausted, and Michael looks awfully tired too. I'll continue to post updates as long as we're hanging out here at the ICU.
