Today is curiousangel's birthday! Happy birthday, love.

We have a nice, lazy, pleasant day of birthday indulgence planned. I made bacon and eggs this morning, which I think is the first cooked breakfast I have made in four and a half years of marriage. Part of the deal with breakfast was that I would make as much bacon as he wanted, without trying to convince him it was too much. It's the little things that truly express our love, isn't it?

We hung out and watched the special features from the West Wing Season 1 DVD, his gift from my parents. In a little while we'll shower, and then I'll go to the store to buy confectioner's sugar and unsweetened cocoa for his birthday cake. Tonight, sushi, followed by cake and probably wine.

What a wonderful husband. What a wonderful day.

Several making-of featurettes, a brief featurette about the music, deleted scenes, a very short joke/outtake piece, and what I can only describe as a music video. Mmmm.

I had seven slices, and she had four. I was perhaps a bit optimistic... or the third cup of coffee might have been a little too much. Anyway, I had a mildly-bothered tummy for a bit this afternoon.
