At 4:30, the time I usually leave the clinic, I was chopping ice off my front steps with the claw end of a hammer. I think I made the right call about staying home. Right now, big flakes of snow are falling rapidly.

Time to go downstairs and curl up under a blanket with my sweetie, a big bottle of Chilean merlot, and CNN's coverage of the New Hampshire results.

I don't know about CNN ('cause I won't watch that shit), but NPR is making NH sound like a comeback for Dean. Among other things, they pointed out that among the nearly one-third of voters who waited till the last three days to make up their minds, exit polls showed a high percentage for Dean. Considering how the news media turned on him after Iowa, I find that fairly encouraging.
