I've always loved this basic cookie form: mild butter cookie topped with a slab of dark chocolate. Carr's Dark Chocolate Imperials. Dark Choco Leibniz.

And now there are these, the perfect example of the form. Seventy percent cocoa. Bitter and rich and intense enough to curl your toes, the bitterness just relieved by the sweet butter cookie.

I'd say it was better than sex, but then, I've always been one to embrace the power of "and."
