Shouldn't every house have a surly parlor? Into which you can retire in your jammies to whack at things and snarl aloud and call out peevishly for treats or videos or for the dog to be brought in and brought out at your whim?

I'm liking the thought of the butler bringing the Irish wolfhound in and out of the surly parlor at my whim.

I think the slightly confused and pleading look of the dog as it was led out for the sixth time would force me to quit the parlor, however.
