rivkaIt's so dark outside that I can't see anything on the other side of the street but the neon-yellow posts that hold up parking meters. Occasional flashes of lightning illuminate the cars that are excused from being towed only because the meter readers don't care to work when it's sheeting down rain.
And here I am at work without my umbrella.

curiousangel, blessedly, is home from his trip, off work today, and willing to pick me up and take me to my water aerobics class - which is likely to be a drier activity than standing on the corner waiting for the bus.
Updated to add: Now I can't see the parking meter posts.
