I meant to write the second installment of my excavation work today. (Well... yesterday. Well, okay, I've been putting it off for some time. This is harder than I expected.) But time has slipped away from me, and now I should really go to bed. We're getting up early to take the car to the metro to the bus to the airplane to Memphis for Thanksgiving.

I'll be back on Saturday evening, God willing. Wish me luck with my conventional, Republican, rich, conservative Christan in-laws.

Good luck on your holiday! You really should think about driving back home, though. You know, winding your way 'cross country and dropping in on friends (I'm just above Nashville, you'd HAVE to go through Nashville) while making your leisurely way home.
