And it looks like I stopped working just in time, because I took a nap when I got home and woke up to discover quite a bit of bloody show.

I will be quite pleased to share a birthday with this baby, if that's how it works out. I'll be 50 tomorrow (or today, where you are and in the time zone where I was born, as it happens). March 26 is also the birthday of Robert Frost and Tennessee Williams, as well as being the day that Beethoven died.

Sam and Shandra have brought the kids up to celebrate the birthday with me. Okay, they actually came up to hang out with Ruth and to go to a convention, but given that it's my birthday as well, they're celebrating. We'll all raise a glass in your direction; your goddaughter's glass will probably contain milk.
