In the pictures where she has her eyes open, she appears to be very alert and attentive. I am not surprised :-). In the pictures where she has her eyes closed, she appears to be very comfortable and at peace. I am not surprised by this, either :-).

Well, I'd be the first to admit I don't much care for human babies, but yours is pretty cute. She doesn't look like a boiled lobster or Winston Churchill! Clearly, you did something right :D

I can't get over how calm and clean you look - not all sweaty and exhausted! Did one of your charming assistants give you a quick face-wash and groom before taking the photo, or something?! ;)

There are definitely sweaty-and-exhausted pictures, but for the most part I think happiness is the best cosmetic. I know I must have been swabbed off at some point - curiousangel wiped my face and back pretty frequently with a cool wet cloth during the last couple of hours - but I have no idea how I actually got clean.
