Alex slept well last night and this morning, in nice long three-and-a-half-hour bursts. Which meant that she didn't eat much over that time period. Which meant that, all day today, she wanted to nurse every hour and fifteen minutes. I never got the chance to put her down for more than ten minutes.

Blessedly, curiousangel is currently taking a turn with the baby so that I can have a few moments of peace without anyone hanging off my nipples. In a few minutes, though, I'll have to go downstairs and pump so we'll have supplemental milk for the night.

She's still the cutest thing ever. Just look at this picture.

I didn't know they became so, so, so BIG so soon. She seems ready to jump down and take on the world! That hair is so gorgeous!

She's smaller than she was at birth! She hasn't gained back all of her birth weight yet. But yeah, I know what you mean - she does look ready for anything in this picture.
