"I'm # 2! I'm # 2!", at least until the next person takes it.
One of the many benefits of being home from post-insomnial arg and feeping about the net whilst real people work.
Now i feel a sheeplike compulsion to make my own test thingy, but know not what to put. Maybe i'll make it hard and laugh like an evil monstrous thing.
Wow, I did as well as Bill! I *don't* know Rivka nearly as well as I want to, so guess I've just been paying close attention. ;-)
I've been thinking about making one of those for myself, but I honestly don't know what questions I would ask. And I'm pretty sure no one would be able to answer them, anyway. Hmm.
I'll be curious to learn which three I got wrong. I think I know, as I had to guess about the poem that was used as a taunt, and a few other things.
I think it's safe to say that there's a whole lot of stuff that doesn't get into these things. Rivka's is about the most truly representative of "how well do you know..." that I've seen, but even still, there's a lot more I know about her than shows up in the test.
As for a test about J... Hey, I can suggest a few questions that *I* think would suit.
The childhood poem (you gave the first line of one of my father's early childhood poems, which is also a cherished bit of family lore), the question about which newsgroup has never been one of my online homes, and - for heaven's sake - my favorite color.
Try adding www2 to the URL. I found that my connection timed out if it wasn't there, but if I changed the URL to http://www2.friendtest.com/ it connected pretty quickly.
It's probably a load balanced site, and one of the back end machines might be down, or the load balancer itself might be down (and giving it www2.etc.etc lets it bypass the load balancer completely). Also, if you reject cookies, you'll get some load balancing failures that you wouldn't if you didn't.
Are you going to claim that you've told me about the poem?
And drat. In classic multiple guess tradition, I had the last three down to two possibilities each, and clearly guessed wrong on each one. *But*, that means that I probably know what the right answers are, now...
Sorry it only seems to be working intermittently. It seems to go down and back up with great frequency.
So far, there are only three questions that a majority of people got wrong: my former online homes, my parents' requirements of Misha, and my favorite color.
It is particularly interesting to note that every single sexual or romantic partner who has taken the quiz thinks my favorite color is deep red. I don't know... I'm beginning to doubt myself. They're so... unanimous.
No idea who ElStupido is. My kneejerk candidate for that title would be ji**at, but I hope he doesn't even know about your LJ.
Somehow or other we never got around to discussing your former online homes. I only know you followed a guy named Billy into a Certain Place we met. As for the deep red, I think we're going with the apparent evidence. I don't recall you ever telling me you had a favorite color.
I dunno... I could see "pink", but I couldn't see *GUESSING* pink, if you understand the difference. "Green" just didn't feel right. I wouldn't be surprised if a synesthesi... if a synathe... if a... if a person who had blended senses saw "deep red" about you.
And, frankly, I had to look up "turquoise", which I think made me shy away from that.
("If you're a psychic, what's my favorite color?" "Your favorite color is puce, but since you don't know what that is, you're mistakenly thinking of some primary color" "Whoa, I just got a shiver...")
Some people were courageous enough to take the quiz a second time without asking me for the correct answers first. But I suppose I should be pleased that you were listening.
Interestingly, "deep red" continues to be the most popular choice for my favorite color. I'd say it was the cloak on Her Royal Highness, in my userpic, but a lot of people from alt.poly seem to be making the same guess.

I assure you it had nothing to do with courage dear. I just figured "hey, if retakes are OK..." and thought I'd demonstrate that I can remember information from one day to the next.
Perhaps the trend toward deep red is a matter of people imagining how it'd look on you?
