The tumor in her pancreas is malignant. And worse: it's metastatic. Dozens of tiny tumors in her lungs and chest cavity - maybe other places too. She's no longer considered a candidate for surgery. They hope that chemo will give her some extra time, but it isn't considered curative for metastatic pancreatic cancer.
Five-year survival rate: 1.6%.
