Sick Alex update.

She woke up at 1am very thirsty, and I gave her a few sips of water - less than half an ounce. Over the next 45 minutes, she threw up three more times. First in her crib, and then on the futon where I was planning to sleep that night, where I'd laid her down so I could change her crib sheets.

She was up half the rest of the night begging for water. And not understanding why I limited her to a few sips an hour.

This morning, so far, she's kept down nearly 8oz of water and Pedialyte. I think we might be past it, but I still don't want her to overfill her stomach. So we're still being mean and restricting her fluid intake, and she still doesn't understand why.

Sarah did this at Christmas, followed by her mom two days later. Luckily neither of them were bad cases, although Sarah greeting her aunt's cheery "merry christmas" by spewing was a bit much for her and her husband.
