Sick Alex update.

She woke up at 1am very thirsty, and I gave her a few sips of water - less than half an ounce. Over the next 45 minutes, she threw up three more times. First in her crib, and then on the futon where I was planning to sleep that night, where I'd laid her down so I could change her crib sheets.

She was up half the rest of the night begging for water. And not understanding why I limited her to a few sips an hour.

This morning, so far, she's kept down nearly 8oz of water and Pedialyte. I think we might be past it, but I still don't want her to overfill her stomach. So we're still being mean and restricting her fluid intake, and she still doesn't understand why.

poor baby and mom&dad! I had this over Thanksgiving. Is she big enough to suck on ice cubes? I don't have kids, so I'm not sure what they can handle at any age, but crunching ice helped me a lot. I tended to swallow too much water even with my sips.
