State of the sick Alex

Good news: She kept clear fluids (water and Pedialyte) down all day yesterday and got rehydrated.
Bad news: She tried solid foods for supper (rice and a popsicle) and threw it all up.
Good news: She slept through the night, twelve solid hours.
Bad news: Michael absentmindedly gave her some milk when she asked for it this morning, which led to nausea and gagging.

So she's clearly not better, but she does seem to be on the road to better. I hope so, anyway. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Milk! Oh no! I always got given bread soaked in hot milk when I was a kid and had thrown up (bread-and-milk, ick) and it always made me throw up again. You'd have thought they'd learn, because I eventually did.

Poor Alex. Poor you.

Poor Michael. I am at my calm, peaceful office. He's at home with a cranky sick toddler.
