My score seemed impressive to me until they presented me with a list of the 187 countries I "forgot," which in many cases (e.g., Navassa Island, French Southern and Antarctic Lands) I had never even heard of.
72 I ran out of time before I ran out of countries. Part of the problem is bad spelling mixed with bad typing. I also had to retype some stuff because it wouldn't take England (it wanted United Kingdom, which is fair enough) or Democratic republic of Congo (I guess it wanted the "the"). It also wouldn't take The Gambia, but rather Gambia. And I can never remember how to spell Luxemburg.
I think I got about 80% of the countries in Africa.
Well there are TWO countries called Congo. The original one (also known as Congo-Brazzaville and then Zaire-turned-into-Democratic-Republic-of-Congo (which we refer to a DR Congo).
It also wouldn't take Guinea-Bissau which sort of freaked me out.
I skipped the entire central Asian republics, since I cannot spell Tajikistan or Kazakhstan, etc. without spell check.
Some of the countries in its list are simply not countries: Kosovo, Hong Kong, Palestine.
I wasted quite a number of seconds trying to get it to accept "Mexico". Apparently the name they wanted was "Mexico". (If you can't see the difference, neither can I.)
And I simply could *not* remember Brunei; I kept spinning my wheels, trying to remember "What's that small country on Borneo?"

So, 72.
