Alex would like to know: "Who else thinks about how did the dinosaurs die?"
If you are someone who has, at times, thought about how the dinosaurs died, it would be nice if you could leave a comment that has a picture of your face so that I can show Alex who you are.

Date: 2008-08-26 06:07 pm (UTC)This photo is from a place called Prospect, about a half-hour's drive from where I live. It's a big headland covered in huge boulders, which a glacier left behind when it melted over 10,000 years ago. There were no dinosaurs then, but big mastodons lived in Nova Scotia - like a furry elephant.
At Prospect, the sea crashes in big waves against the rocks; It's a big moor covered in gorse and juniper, with wild roses and irises, and cranberries growing in the boggy wet spots. It's a really beautiful place; you can see more pictures of it here:

The girl in the red jacket is *my* daughter, just a few days before her 12th birthday.

This is a picture of me when we went to visit Kennedy Space Center. That's Naomi's Dad in the picture with me, and someone dressed up like an astronaut. I think about astronauts too.
