This photo is from a place called Prospect, about a half-hour's drive from where I live. It's a big headland covered in huge boulders, which a glacier left behind when it melted over 10,000 years ago. There were no dinosaurs then, but big mastodons lived in Nova Scotia - like a furry elephant.
At Prospect, the sea crashes in big waves against the rocks; It's a big moor covered in gorse and juniper, with wild roses and irises, and cranberries growing in the boggy wet spots. It's a really beautiful place; you can see more pictures of it here:
