They are oppressed by feminism and its results.

Among their favorite causes, in my experience, is championing men who are either (a) forced to support children who to them were just a fun one-night stand, or (b) forced to have no contact with their beloved, wanted children by harpyish hateful evil mothers.

Plus how the rise of women in the professions steals all their good jobs, and since (of course) self-esteem is a zero-sum game, all gains women have made in confidence and safety come at the cost of insisting men must be pussified, neurotic wimps.

My impression is that they want the right to walk away from children they have fathered at any point at which they get tired of the children's mother, because child support is tyrrany akin to slavery. But otherwise, I think you're spot on.
