More jury duty.

I am bored. It's hard to focus on work in the jury waiting room. The work e-mail site is still down. They haven't called a jury panel in the last hour; I don't know if I'll even be called again. But I'm stuck here until they let us go home.

the hamster on today's page for the cuteoverload calendar has the *exact* *same* haircut as an ex of mine did when i saw him last week.

I just read this marvelous interview with a botanical artist I'd never heard of before. He is AMAZING! Especially when you consider that he is 97, and considers his life and talent to have blossomed when he hit 70.

A new icon for me to look up to!

Oh, that is beautiful. I look at those amazingly detailed pictures of insects and I can't believe he draws them from memory.

I love the photo of him at the end, too. He just looks like someone you'd want to know.

On the other hand, the rain in Maryland lies mainly on the roads this afternoon. Thankfully, it does seem to be rain east of I-95. I hope things stay warm enough for that to remain the case.
