Experiences I never wanted to have: nursing a baby while throwing up in a basin held over the baby's back.

He thinks all this is hilarious. He doesn't like it when I leave the room abruptly, but the funny noises are right up his alley.

Ask Moxie has a post up on parenting while sick, and my favorite was the woman nursing a baby, reading to her two year old, and sitting on the toilet having diarrhea.

Oh, yuck. That sounds like what we just had, too. I didn't barf over the baby, thankfully -- but I would wake, nurse, get super queasy, barf, and then go back to bed.

Oh... this takes me back to the day my big dude was born... the morphine just made me so ill, and I had a fresh c/s incision and yes, the nurse holding the basin over the baby... ugh. ugh. ugh.
