Looks like a great Christmas morning. Were the roses for you?

Merry Christmas! Yes, they were a gift at church for directing the pageant.

Oh: our next-door neighbors dropped off a present last night and Alex ran to get her helicopter to show them. They immediately recognized it as a rescue copter and one of them told Alex that his brother flies one for the Coast Guard. So that was neat.

Merry Christmas to you too. Nice to know the helicopter is already enjoying such great success.

Happy holidays!

Every time you post a photo of Alex, I think, "Must keep this child far away from my niece; together they will take over the world!" followed by, "What am I thinking? If I get them together, I will be their first loyal minion, and perhaps they'll give me a small kingdom to rule!"

And the world would probably be a Much Better Place! :)

Merry Christmas! Ah, we gave Fiona a Belle costume for her birthday one year. She practically lived in the next two years.

hee! i like how you decorated the tree. neatly solves the "no, don't touch!" problem. and you all look really happy!

Hee! The decorating rule was, no ornaments at all below Alex's waist, and no breakable ornaments between her waist and her shoulders. (The ornaments that Michael and I would feel awful if they were broken hang well over Alex's head.)

But actually, Colin has been surprisingly uninterested in the tree. Alex's toys are a much bigger lure.
