I didn't know LJ could do that. :)

Only if you're a paid user. The possibilities are endless, aren't they? *grin*

*grin* I'm looking forward to Ororo's first poll, or is that hinting too much?

So what does it say about us, that apparently none of us are completely free from a sense of impending doom?

It says we're all getting old and cynical? :)

Bleh, I misread it. I thought it said "I get a sort of frightened feeling if something awful is about to happen", not "as if". So my answer isn't right. I only have a sense of impending doom when there's something to feel doomful about. So I am less paranoid than I thought :)

er, if this poll is about being ADMITTED to the hospital then you left off my answer - ENOEXPERIENCE. I've never been admitted to a hospital. or do you just mean visiting one?

[identity profile] rivka.livejournal.com 2001-09-04 11:38 am (UTC)(link)
No, the questionnaire I took the poll question from was just called the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale. The questions are meant to apply more generally to how you're feeling about your life recently, not just how you might be feeling during/in relation to a hospitalization. (Although that's what I'm using it for in my research.) The real thing actually comes with directions that make it all clear.

oh, see I was totally confused and thought that it meant "I get a frightened feeling when going into the hospital" since there was no explanation as to WHEN the frightened feeling was supposed to be happening and it was called the "hospital anxiety etc" poll...

*grin* That's all right, I've confused people who know me a lot better than you do.
