We bought a car!

In fact, we bought a 2000 Toyota Corolla with 30,000 miles on it. There's still another 30,000 miles left on the manufacturer's warranty. It's got power everything and a sunroof. And we got a good deal on it, too. Yay, us!

curiousangel gets major points for being such a joy to buy a car with. Every time we touched base throughout the whole process, we were in essential agreement. And he was very good at holding firm once we'd decided how much we cared to spend - without being rude to the car dealer.

The only hard part of all this is that he's going to get to drive it more often than me. Sigh.

i've got one, too! i just love mine. it rides like a dream and is the nicest car i've ever owned. mine's white, which is kind of a drag, but not too big of one.
