It's a trophy. (And an apple, and a cup of pretzels.)
Her Girl Scout leader won a party package with two Wii games (Dance Party and Kids Dance Party) and trophies to use for game prizes. Alex was totally not into the dancing, especially the competitive dancing, so she spent the whole party working on the side activity, which was making toys for animal shelter cats. When they handed out trophies, Alex received one for "making the world a better place." She was SO THRILLED.
Those are both great pictures! (Somehow FB only was showing me the one of Colin when I commented there last night) I love Alex's obvious glee.
And, you know, purple skirt FTW.
(Which reminds me, Mike said when he arrived at day care the other day to pick Charlie up, the majority of the boys in the 2-yr-old class were dressing up as princesses while the two girls were playing with trucks. Yay)
