Members of my family who have been painfully constipated: 1.
Members of my family who have had a neon yellow runny nose: 1.
Members of my family who somehow scraped their forehead without anyone noticing: 1.
Impact of my residual breathing issues, in comparison: Negligible.
Thanksgiving in Williamsburg with chargirlgenius and family: priceless.

Well, that last line looks like it outweighs all the others, so I'm going to assume it's a net positive, even with all the undesirable stuff.

It doesn't stop with parenthood. It continues on into grandparenthood. And that's okay with me! :)
